The Watertown Transition Academy (WTA), part of Watertown Public Schools, supports young adults with disabilities ages 18 to 22 who have completed high school requirements. The program prepares participants to become productive community members through classroom instruction and real-world experiences. WTA focuses on developing employability skills, social skills, and independence in daily living. Located in a community office building in downtown Watertown, Connecticut, the program provides meaningful opportunities for growth and independence.
