Insurance Accepted: Carelon Behavioral Health is the Administrative Service Organization that manages HUSKY Health Behavioral Health authorizations. 

Carelon BH CT ASD Care Coordinators & Peer Specialists •Available to HUSKY Health eligible individuals regardless of HUSKY benefit package/age.

State Plan Autism Spectrum Disorder Services (ASD) Authorized by Carelon Behavioral Health •Available to Medicaid-eligible individuals under the age of 21 with HUSKY A, B*, C or D.

The CT BHP is a Partnership that consists of the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). Consultation is provided to the CT BHP by a legislatively mandated Oversight Council. The Departments contracted with Carelon Behavioral Health to serve as the Administrative Services Organization (ASO). Expanded in 2011 to include DMHAS, the contract is designed to create an integrated behavioral health service system for our members; Connecticut’s Medicaid populations, including children and families who are enrolled in HUSKY Health and DCF Limited Benefit programs.

The Partnership’s goal is to provide access to a more complete, coordinated, and effective system of community based behavioral health services and support.
